There are two versions of Kraig’s bust of Brigham Young. One is the smaller half life size that is the more formal portrait and the second is the bust version from the eight foot monument in the rotunda of the State Capitol building in Utah. Both sculptures show the younger beardless Brigham Young at the dynamic time period leading the saints across the plains.
